In Production(Part 2)

We are done with the story writing of our machinima movie. So what the story is about is three best friends,Tyler,Shane and Eric,who are school graduates from PCU(Paradise City University).They go through situations that regular students don't go through like;borrowing a dollar from someone from like,4 years ago then being chased down for by a warthog. And now they have saved up enough money to moved out of New Mombasa County and relocate to Southern Paradise City. On there way,they make a quick stop at the KP for gas because of it being a long drive to Southern Paradise. But while the trio are there,they are witnesses of a shooting of a clerk who is actually is the little brother of a big-time crime lord named,Woo Li. Now,the three are on the run from the people who shot the clerk. But the people who shot the clerk are part of another crime mob who wants to make a deal with Woo Li's mob,for drugs,money,and gun supplies.We can't give you all the story,but on another post we will give you a description on the all characters of this machinima movie. Also more machinimas are in the works,the reason of it taking so long is because of the search of voice actors.

'The Forgotten Spartans' Part 7.Review Time

We at media storm are giving a review for the most epic machinima sense DigitalPh33r's Dues ex Machina which is 'The Forgotten Spartans'. Okay,the story is basically about three spartans being forgotten. There left on one of the halo rings,with there only way off is a left hornet.But there real reasoning in doing all of this is to figure out why were they abandon. While escaping death,the trio reunites to help the soldiers to help defeat the elites. But story unfolds in episode 7 into why the elites want to kill the humans. Which is to stop the humans from destorying halo ring which is too close to the elites home world. My name is Darryl aka Sickening AngeI which is my gamer tag,and let me give my honest opinion as well as the review. "I am a very big fan of DigitalPh33r sense master chief first came out",but the reason why i think Darnkal may surpass DigitalPh33r. Here is why,Darknal is more part of the xbox live community and the community itself,but don't get me wrong the great machinima maker has been as well. DigitalPh33r is a guy that says "If you want it done right you have to do it yourself",which i totally agree on his stand point. Because seriously people who watch his machinimas always say his voice acting sucks, all i have to say is "who give a fuck about his voice acting". Like not to long ago i was watching a machinima called, 'DigitalQu33r'. The fucker thought he was so special that he replaced Ph33r with Qu33r and was talking shit, and if DigitalPh33r did a video like that,the whole youtube community would get mad at him,just a fact. So,can we be mature and stop sending him e-mail,hate mail,and unnecessary videos,because i am just saying maybe none of you people may not listen to me,but at least i am trying my point across. This is what i truly have to say once you start pushing a man to far,eventually he'll start pushing back. Which means 'DigitalPh33r may stop making machinimas. But getting off topic,and back to the review. With T.F.S awesome story,great epic sequences,and excellent presentation we will give it a 97.5/100. Darknal is a great upcoming machinima director,with one of this best machinimas out today.

We are still wondering prequel or sequel, but we had to admit that the drill is very nice,and it also seems like game play mechanics stayed well-known to the first game. Finally,the third installment of Max Payne is coming this winter '09. If you had Max Payne 2:The Fall of Max Payne on the consoles(Xbox,PS2) then they might have not said anything about his journey through the night continuing,but on the PC after the credits and that addicting song "A Late Goodbye" that every game character would sing,whistle,hum, or play on the piano. Max Payne 3 is currently in designed with Rockstar as take-two presented them with the game. Would take reigns from Remedy who currently in development of Alan Wake "Hopefully". So the game will be on the systems 360,PS3, and the PC. Sam Houser, Rockstar boss said, that there starting a new chapter in Max's revengeful life,so Max is a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. Gamers will see his new life and his downward spiral life after Max Payne 2. This will be his last chance for salvation as a huge collection of gamers and fans will witness a new threshold in Max Payne's life.

Who watches The Watchmen?

I'm pretty sure you've heard of this movie by now. If you haven't seen it, then you should go straight to the nearest movie theater and watch it right now (well, after you finish reading). Let me warn you tough, go to bathroom before the movie begins, and DON'T buy a drink; this movie is three hours long. That's not necessarily bad. This amazing movie has everything, drama, fighting, SEX (you see EVERYTHING), blood, blood, blood, and blood. This movie is not for the squeamish. I can't get too into detail, because I don't want to ruin it for you. Overall, I give this movie a MS review of 100/100. A perfect score.

What interested us about the math major is that she tutors high school students on Xbox Live. Call of Duty 4 Promise Land Has Seen 15 million...

The modern first person shooter,has reach big numbers(15 million) players online. With its third ranking on the Xbox Live charts with it being below CoD 5 and Halo 3,but recently this week Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, release testimony of the award-winning game success,then taking three BAFTA awards in London. Blowing also said that 11 million joined on xbox live,while 4 million join on PlayStation Network. But he didn't mention the war on PC,with Call of Duty 4 online population it could be its own normal sized country and they need now is a leader to control them.

Gears of War 2 Title Update 3

* New experience-based ranking system: The new system gives you 100 levels of player experience, gained through scoring in Public matches. The game still uses TrueSkill to set up the most competitive matches possible, but skill ranks are now hidden. Players who quit matches early see their experience docked as a penalty.
* Public Match autobalancing: Bots now automatically join a Public Match to fill any slots left vacant by players who quit early or disconnect.
* Improvements: You get region preference for matchmaking, improved standby detection, playlist optimization, plus nine new achievements—six of which require the Snowblind Map Pack—worth a total of 250 points.
* Exploit fixes: Title Update 3 eliminates the ability to mantle greater distances by swapping weapons during cover slide and to melee attack through walls while holding an enemy weapon, plus adding many more fixes.
* General fixes: These include more reliable chainsaw interruption detection, improved headshot detection for certain character model heads, improved flag AI in Submission games, plus other fixes.

Once again, Halo 3 is the #1 game on Xbox live. It was #2 for the past two and a half months with Call of Duty: World at War dominating first place. The game also had its one billionth match last week.

By now you know WKTT stands for "We Know The Truth". And today we now know that technology is the truth. A couple finds a baby to adopt on the internet sites like:Youtube,Facebook,and Google and we have the full story right here from our dependable source CNN.




Amanda, a college student seven months pregnant, scrolled past a YouTube video of a young California couple seeking adoption.

The couple, Jeremy and Christy Nueman, wanted to adopt a baby after struggling with infertility for five years. But instead of relying solely on newspaper ads or bulletin board fliers to increase their chances of connecting with a birth mother, they created a short YouTube video to show who they are.

Upon watching the video online, Amanda immediately connected with a snapshot of the Nuemans' adorable miniature pinscher named Penny. She giggled when she saw video of Jeremy Nueman dancing happily in his kitchen, which reminded her of her own father.

She played the video over and over again.

"The video was comforting, and I could relate to them" said Amanda, who picked the Nuemans to become the adoptive parents of her baby boy out of hundreds of profiles she viewed online and through adoption agencies. Amanda chose to keep her last name anonymous for privacy reasons. "It's so hard when you are just reading a letter to figure out what are these people like."

With a high demand for domestic infants, adoption experts say the wait for a baby can be months or years. To gain a competitive edge, a growing number of adoption-minded couples are using Web sites like YouTube and Facebook to sell themselves as parents. Going online is cheaper, faster and reaches a wider audience than using just on print advertisements and word of mouth, they say.

Some wannabe parents are uploading YouTube videos featuring a hodgepodge of photos, home tours and interviews. Others are writing on blogs and personal Web sites to give birth mothers a glimpse of their adoption journey. To help spread the word, prospective parents also are utilizing social networking sites like Twitter, MySpace and Facebook in the hope that their friends may know of a potential birth mom.

"Today's teens and young adults looking for adoptive parents are more tech savvy than before," says Jeff Siler, who owns ParentGallery.com, a free site created in 2007 where couples wanting to adopt can post pictures and video online. "Even before teens talk to an adoption agency, they may already be trying to Google for an answer online."

Social media like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook are also gaining traction among private adoption agencies. Bethany Christian Services, one of the nation's largest adoption agencies, which completed more than 730 domestic infant adoptions last year, advises its couples -- including the Nuemans -- to create a YouTube video.

"Having a video makes you feel like you are with them in person," says Dawn Baker, a social worker at Bethany Christian Services in Madison Heights, Michigan, who says the teen mothers she counsels really connect with the videos. Baker added that she matched a 16-year-old pregnant girl with a family in North Carolina after the teen saw their video last month. The adoption is not yet finalized.

In the past, adoption advertising, which is allowed in at least 34 states, traditionally relied on newspaper and radio advertising as well as brochures, fliers and business cards, adoption experts said. In the digital era, these media no longer have the reach they once did. Newspaper ads can be costly, running hundreds of dollars a month.

Maria Kwarta and her husband, Nathan Kwarta, both 26, of University City, Missouri, saw the Internet as a natural way to reach potential birth moms.

"We were trying to do what was familiar to us. We already had Facebook and MySpace accounts, so why not just use that," said Maria Kwarta, who has been discussing adoption with her husband for more than five years.

The two are also sending Tweets every few days, seeking potential moms on Craigslist, documenting their efforts in Live Journal, updating their Xanga profiles and posting on CafeMom.

"Get to know us a little better," says the Kwartas' three-minute YouTube video with upbeat music in the background. Their video shows a photo montage of the couple with brimming smiles at baseball games and ski trips. The video ends with contact information so the birth mother can reach them directly. The Nuemans and Kwartas aren't alone in their relentless efforts to find a baby. While there is no federal data tracking the number of private domestic adoptions each year, adoption experts estimate that about 15,000 private domestic infant adoptions are completed in a year. Yet experts said the number of couples trying to adopt is even larger than the adoptions that are finalized.

White American infants continue to be in the highest demand, adoption experts say, but the number of domestic infants available for private adoption has dropped as women have more access to contraception and the social stigma against single parenting has lessened.

For example, from 1989 to 1995, the percentage of children born to never-married white women who were placed up for adoption dwindled to 1.7 percent, a steep decline from 19.3 percent of children going up for adoption before 1973, according to the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute in Massachusetts, a nonprofit that tracks national adoption trends.

"The more people who know you are looking, the better your prospects," explained Adam Pertman, executive director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, who has seen more prospective parents start using the Web to spread the word in the last few years. "It's a crapshoot, and you are trying to improve your odds."

Seth Edlavitch, 38, and his wife had waited for a baby for nearly three years. They had made a paper flier to find a birth mother, and on a whim, they uploaded it to Facebook last December. His wife, Melissa Segal, 39, was unable to conceive and had a devastating miscarriage years before.

It took only two weeks before a friend of a friend, who knew someone who wanted to give up her child for adoption, found the flier online.

"It's just one of those right place and the right time situations," said Edlavitch, who brought their newborn son, Noah Edlavitch, to their Maryland home on New Year's Day. "I never would have anticipated that it would work the way that it did."

There are some downsides to advertising online. Driving traffic to the site can be tough. The blogs, videos and profiles need to stand out to be effective, says Lori Dowd, who owns an adoption consulting Web site, ProfilesThatGetPicked.com.

Karen Greenberg, president of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, a national association of adoption lawyers, warns that advertising on Craigslist and Facebook can be a "hotbed for scams." The academy is trying to create a national "adoption information clearing house" where attorneys, agencies and eventually couples looking to adopt can use the site to check the birth mother's status. The site is planned to be launched this year.

"There aren't any regulations to oversee what's actually going on when you go at it alone," she said.

Back in their home in San Diego, California, the Nuemans have celebrated their first Thanksgiving and Christmas with their new son, Caleb, a playful, chubby, brown-haired, blue-eyed baby. The adoption was finalized in October 2008.

"I remember walking through the door with Caleb the first time we bought him back," said Christy Nueman, 29. "Just the thought that our family was going to be full-grown -- it was a sweet moment knowing this would be our new family."

Fox announced today that the show everyone knows and love, The Simpsons, has two more seasons on the way. This means that The Simpsons will break the record for the longest-airing TV show with a total of 22 seasons, that's an incredible 493 episodes in total.

A new sonic game??

A new sonic game is on the way, called sonic and the black night. My prediction is this game will be TERRIBLE. Because the latest sonic game that I liked is sonic heroes and that was in 2005 I believe. Let me justify why I think it will fail:

Max Payne-With a MS Review of a 85/100. DVD features; Commentary,Unrated, and an animated graphic novel!








Pineapple Express-I know we haven't gave these movies a review, but we will now. I have to admit that this movie was a very funny movie. Process server Dale Denton has a grudging business relationship with the laconic Saul Silver, deigning to visit only to purchase Saul's primo product--a rare new strain of pot called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city's most dangerous drug lord, he panics and drops the Pineapple Express at the scene. When it's traced back to him, Dale and Saul run for their lives--and they quickly discover that they're not just suffering from weed-fueled paranoia. If they survive, these two just might become real friends. All aboard the Pineapple Express. That's the story. So we at Media Storm we will give a 97/100 check out this out on DVD with the unrated version.





Lakeview Terrace- Sam is the man in this movie, and what could be better than to live next door to a cop? Well here's the story. An interracial couple moves into their California dream home, only to find themselves the target of their volatile next-door neighbor -- a racist LAPD officer -- in this tightly wound thriller starring Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington. Newlyweds Chris and Lisa seem like they have the perfect marriage and now, with their new home in the exclusive community Lakeview Terrace, the perfect life as well, but things soon turn ugly in the posh neighborhood when they begin to receive threats from their neighbor Abel, a middle-aged LAPD officer who has obvious objections to the couple's interracial marriage. What starts as an attitude problem soon morphs into full-on harassment, and before long the couple finds that their worries go far beyond their property values -- or the encroaching California wildfire burning in view of their community -- as they begin to fear for their lives. We at Media Storm are going to give it 89/100 great movie but no unrated version which would have been nice to seen.








Nick & Norah Infinite Playlist- Are you Superbad? well Michael Cera proves that he deserves his rank in this movie. Here's the story: Michael Cera and Kat Dennings star as two lonesome teens who make a love connection as they prowl the streets of New York looking for their favorite band's secret show, as well as for their drunk friend Caroline. Norah is sick of being the doormat for her catty friend Tris, so rather than look like she's arrived at yet another concert without her unreliable ex-boyfriend-with-benefits Tal, she grabs a stranger and pretends he's her date. Unfortunately, that stranger is Nick -- whom Tris just dumped. Oddly enough, though, Nick and Norah seem to have a real connection. But is Nick still too hung up on the princess? The only way to find out is to spend all night combing Manhattan in a yellow Yugo. We are going to give it a 91/100.





So give these movies the credit that they due and check them out!

WKTT:Video Games into Movies

With our up-and-coming podcast we have a skit called WKTT: We Know The Truth. So now let me give you a written preview of the skit. And the topic today is Video games into movies. Well let me take you back 16 years ago. Do you remember the Super Mario Bros movie that came out in 1993. And do you remember how bad it sucked. With a very wrong setting and a homo looking Bowser,and Mario and Luigi they were low-tech plumbers and i don't recall Mario having a freaking wrench in the game.




Now let me take you 12 years from there with Doom that came out in 2005. "Oh Yeah," the only thing the movie had going for it was the cast. Which had only one good cast member The Rock,and you find out in the movie that he isn't even a main character. The movie was just plain boring for a great game,and the only ass kicking part was the last part that was in first person view and it really wasn't that good. If i was reviewing the movie i would give it a 35/100 a MS review.



Now Ladies and Gents let me take you to 2008 with Max Payne, but first let me educate you in gaming knowledge, Max Payne was a marvelous game and i would recommend it and one of my first games. But the movie was pretty good itself stayed basically to the story, and had incredible action scenes but it had its cons like the unrated version should have more scenes. And should have been longer. But we will give it a MS Review of a 85/100-stunning,action-packed, and story divine . This movie shows improvement on Video Games into Movies.

Friday the 13th movie review

We have a review for Friday the 13th and the movie is pretty bad ass. Well you probably know the story of Jason Voorhees already,but we will sum it up for you if you don't. Searching for his missing sister, Clay Miller heads up to the eerie woods of legendary Crystal Lake, where he stumbles on the creaky remains of rotting old cabins behind moss-covered trees. And that's not the only thing lying in wait under the brush. Against the advice of police and cautions from the locals, Clay pursues what few leads he has in the search for his missing sister, Whitney, with the help of Jenna, a young woman he meets among a group of college kids up for an all-thrills weekend. But they are all about to find much more than they bargained for. Little do they know, they've entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history -- the infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake, armed with a razor-sharp machete. That's basically the whole story. If your a fan of Jason or horror movies or just wanted to see something new I would recommend you see this movie.

In later news, Tracy McGrady's season is over due to surgery, and making matters even worse, he didn't even tell the Houston Rockets or the coach. A big mistake on his part. In other news, for the Cleveland Cavaliers, a potential trade is in the works with the big man himself Shaq. A Cavs official, however, said any talks regarding O’Neal have since ended. The MSC will keep a watchful eye on this story as it unfolds.

Nintendo DSi!!

With the DS already being the best-selling handheld in history, Nintendo isn't stopping with this amazing handheld. Basically, the DSi is a new and improved version of the DS. The DSi is slightly thinner with larger screens and amazing new changes like the two new cameras, and it's two screens are now BOTH touch screens, it doesn't stop there, however, it has extra memory which can be used for saving pictures or storing music. It will also be SD memory card compatible as well. The DSi is scheduled to be released on April 5. It will be available in two colors, black (shown below), and red.
